Xara Levels Tool (part 4/5)
This video tutorial discusses the features of the Levels tool, used on photos in Xara. Part 4 discusses the output colour shade controls.
The levels tool (available only in Xtreme Pro) provides a way to alter the distribution of colours in a photo in way that cannot be achieved with plain brightness and contrast controls. This levels tool is similar to the one available in Adobe Photoshop, but at significantly lower cost.
Xara software can be found at www.xara.com. It is world-class vector software with all the abilities of Adobe Illustrator, and is surprisingly inexpensive. It’s also the fastest, and well designed vector software around.
