
3ds max water/ ocean with plugins 2
This is a very basic water / ocean “test scene”
It was made without any third party plug ins - 100% stock max
It was rendered in Mental ray 3.5
It was made with a standard max shader, using raytrace for reflections and refractions and a mix+noise map for the displacement slot
There are 3 teapots submerged in the ‘water’ at different depths and one red teapot above. The geometry is a simple plane.
