Final Cut Pro Basic Technique #4: Pleasantville Effect
A 1998 movie ‘Pleasantville’ is a phenomenal movie for video editing. It’s mostly black and white but partially uses colors for a few selected characters. This VTC shows how to partially apply colors to a selected object in the video clip.
Note that the original VTC is designed such that the full length is 10′26. Therefore, this YouTube version is part of it. The entire video can be viewed at http://www.mhouse-j.com/ with the resolution of 720 x 540 pixels.
