Wii Artifacting - Prominant At 27th Second

They are difficult to view against the distortion caused by the mpeg compression but are most apparent at the 27 second mark in the video. You can see a prominant set of blurry vertical bars appear that look a little like digital moss. This artifacting is NOT related to this particular game. It also appeared heavily during parts of Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. It appears mostly during scenes that involve darkness and is not as visible in bright scenes. As the example also shows, the intensity of the moss seems connected to the intensity of the graphical image.
UPDATE:
Nintendo provided me with a new Wii console without any trouble at all. The new console does not have this problem … yet.
The video is taken while playing Rayman Raving Rabbids by Ubisoft, who is the copyright holder. I will remove this video if asked to. My intention is to illustrate a potential flaw in Nintendo’s hardware and not break copyright law.
