
Wiimote Stuff: Wiimote On Windows, Part 1
Here’s a quick video on what you can use the Wiimote for. With a Bluetooth adapter, you can connect the Nintendo Wii Remote (aka Wiimote) to a Windows (or Linux, or Mac) PC. It seemed hard to do on Linux so I used Windows in this example. Using a program called GlovePIE, you can use the Wiimote buttons as control for emulators (like a gamepad) or control the mouse pointer with the motion or IR using WiinRemote. Note that you’ll need a sensor bar or something like a sensor bar if you want to use the IR.
