To give an example of what I am trying to say here….Georgia law 16-13-79 (b) states, “ANY PERSON who distributes or possesses with the intent to distribute nitrous oxide for any use other than for a medical use, shall be guilty of a FELONY and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment for NOT LESS than ONE YEAR nor more than THREE YEARS a fine not to exceed $5,000.00 or BOTH……Sale and distribution are not exactly the same. Giving your friends a safe food grade thrill is distribution…asking them to chip in is sale. The feds have used this loophole to bust hippies passing a joint around a circle…So even if one dosn’t inhale or even puff at all, passing it on is a legal definition of distribution.
