Ayumilove Windows Movie Maker: Brady Bunch Effect Shortcut


Hi guys! Here is a single mini guide that focuses on how to create a BradyBunch effect (aka 4 video in 1 screen) using a shortcut. This method was brought out by one of Windows Movie Maker forum member AllyseV! Its a cool technique that allows 2 clips to overlap into another clip

In this guide, it shows you how to create a BradyBunch effect using the transition Comp A and B, and “Slow Down By Half” effect. Apart from that, its required to have BradyBunch effect that can be obtained from www.windowsmoviemakers.net forum and Rehan PIP (picture in picture) plugin.

Step by Step Guide
1. Set the picture duration to 10 seconds length (Tools, Options, Advanced, Picture Duration)
2. Add 4 pictures into the storyboard
3. The 2nd and 3rd picture clip add “Slow by Half”
4. Switch from Storyboard View to Timeline View
5. Drag 2nd picture clip into 1st picture clip to the max (leave no space)
6. Drag 3rd picture clip into 2nd picture clip to the max (leave 0.4 second space) = 5 ctrl+n
7. Drag 4th picture clip into 3rd picture clip to the max (leave no space)
8. Switch from Timeline View to Storyboard View
9. Replace Fade with Comp A and B transition
10. Remove “Slow Down by Half” from 3rd picture clip
11. Remove “Slow Down by Half” from 2nd picture clip
