Tutorial: Using A Photo As A Digital Drawing Reference
Note: Contains mild nudity.
I prefer drawing from photo reference by eye, but on a computer I find it much easier to start by tracing and forming a skeleton. As you draw over different layers, the piece will look slowly more like your own style.
