Ayumilove Windows Movie Maker FAQ: Frequently Ask Questions

The top best 3 wmv file type are:
- WMV Video for broadband (512 Kbps) B
- WMV High Quality Video (Large) A
- WMV Video for local playback (2.1 Mbps) A
In my humble opinion, Video for broadband (512 Kbps) is best suit for Youtube Flash Movies because it takes lesser time to process and upload to Youtube. Since this video is already resized to 320×240, it shortens the processing time for Youtube to resize them. The file size is pretty small, hence its faster for Youtube viewers to load the video without much waiting/lagging. This helps both slow and fast connection online viewers.

Don’t blame the tool for not doing it perfectly. Blame yourself for not wanting to do it right. If you can’t handle Windows Movie Maker (the simplest free video editing software tool) how are you going to handle Adobe Premiere, iMovie, Pinnacle, Ulead Video Studio or Final Cut Pro/Express.

Press CTRL+P instead of CTRL+S to save as WMV

Windows Movie Maker does not support certain video format such as MPEG-2, Quicktime, MPEG-4, etc

==== WHY WHEN I SAVE MOVIE, TIME COUNTS UP ====
If you notice that the time required to complete saving your movie as WMV counts and beyond, example 999 minutes, this means you are using video/audio sources that Windows Movie Maker does not fully support such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MOV, AAC, etc. Don’t force Windows Movie Maker to do something which its not capable of or else he won’t make the video for you.
