Tutorial: Muzzle Flash (For Vegas Professional)
Create a gunshot effect in Vegas without After Effects or anything else. This is for Vegas Professional. There are alternative methods for Platinum Edition.
There’s a lot of extra information that you don’t really need, so if you already know about sound effects and color correction, you won’t have to watch after the 2 minute mark.
Before you try this, go to www.detonationfilms.com and download some muzzle flare stock footage.
I don’t know why, but the pre-rendered sample clip at the beginning and end has the sound all distorted. It probably has something to do with the fact that the original rendered file was in Quicktime Format.
